Advanced Diagnostic Medical Centre

Leaders in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services

Pioneers in the use of cutting-edge technology for accurate imaging without ionising radiation

At Centro Médico de Diagnóstico Avanzado we use a 1.5 Tesla magnet, equivalent to 15 thousand times the magnetic field of our planet, to produce high quality images. This powerful magnet attracts the protons present in the hydrogen atoms that make up human tissue, which are temporarily misaligned when stimulated by radio frequency waves.

When the stimulus is suspended, the protons return to their original position, releasing energy that is transformed into radio signals. A computer picks up these signals and converts them into detailed images, providing a precise view of the anatomy and function of the organs.

At Centro Médico de Diagnóstico Avanzado, we prioritise the safety of our patients by avoiding the use of ionising radiation. Our team of highly qualified professionals specialised in image interpretation guarantees accurate and reliable results.

Our Magnetic Resonance Imaging Process:

Electromagnetic field

We use a 1.5 Tesla magnet to generate a strong electromagnetic field.

Proton Stimulation

Protons in human tissues are misaligned with radio frequency waves.

Signal Capture

The computer records the signals released by the protons as they return to their original position.

Transformation Images

The signals are converted into detailed images of anatomy and organ function.

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Martín

The Advanced Diagnostic Medical Centre is directed by the Dr. Martín García Péreza specialist with more than 25 years of experience.

Dr. Martín holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada, with a distinction. He completed his residency specialising in Radiodiagnosis at the Hospital Universitario de San Carlos in Madrid, where he joined the staff as an Area Specialist in the hospital's Radiodiagnosis Service and later as Head of Residents. He obtained his PhD degree in 1997 after reading his doctoral thesis "COMPARATIVE STUDY OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE ANGIOGRAPHY WITH US DOPPLER AND XRAY IN THE EVALUATION OF THE CERVICO CRANIAL CIRCULATION" which was awarded the following marks outstanding cum laude unanimously.

His research articles and publications in national and foreign journals of high prestige are numerous.
